Is an online signature valid in India?
Electronic signatures are recognised under the Information Technology Act for most commercial documents. For anything where you need certainty, check with your legal advisor — we will not advise on that.
Does the signer need an Odoo account?
No. They receive a link, sign in the browser, and the completed document comes back attached to your record.
Is there an audit trail?
Yes. Time, identity, and document version are recorded with the signature and stay attached to the file.
